Park Eun-Jun
Abstract
Purpose : This study investigated how positive strokes toward trainees in the hair beauty work-study system affected their self-esteem, customer orientation, and organizational effectiveness. This study provides the basic data necessary for the development of a professional education and training program, including positive strokes to improve self-esteem and to increase the competitiveness of trainees on the work-study parallel system with a hair major.

Methods : Data were collected from the 300 completed questionnaires, made for trainees in their 20s, on a hair beauty work-study parallel system, and subjected to frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 22.0.

Results : The work-learning parallel system indicated that the positive strokes toward trainees had a significant effect on their self-esteem, organizational effectiveness, and customer orientation. Moreover, self-esteem had a significant effect on organizational effectiveness and customer orientation.

Conclusion : First, the introduction of educational or counseling programs that can increase positive strokes is required. Second, receptive and open business operations to form mutually trusting relationships are needed rather than unilaterally directed work. In addition, schools should establish and implement various education and training support policies that can revitalize organizational learning culture rather than infusion education. Third, we need time and money so that we can engage in cultural activities that develop and support positive thinking.
